Location
Casa Tortuga is situated in the northern most part of the Yucatan Peninsula, in Chuburna Puerto, approximately 50 minutes from the Merida International Airport (MID) and just west of the larger port city of Progreso.
Chuburna is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the Emerald Coast. It is a small, tranquil fishing village known for it's beautiful and quiet beaches, perfect to relax and collect seashells.
Accomodations
Casa Tortuga is a modern and newly built home consisting of a main house and two casitas. The main house has three spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathrooms. Two half bathrooms, a courtyard, a beachfront porch with dining and relaxing area and a magnificent rooftop with a pool and panoramic sea views for beautiful sunrises and sunsets, while the ground level pool offers a refreshing retreat for relaxation and leisure. Two elegantly appointed casitas, each featuring kitchenettes and private balconies, offer ideal accommodations for additional friends and family, providing comfort and privacy. Covered parking and an electronic gate for convenience.
Amenities
Casa Tortuga offers all the comfort you come to expect for a relaxing and pleasant vacation. A fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, smart TVs in the living room and Master suite, fans and seven AC units in all the suites (main home and casitas), living room and kitchen, along with high-speed Starlink internet service to keep you connected for leisure or work during your stay. The home is also equipped with outdoor cameras, and monitored security system. A toilet paper-friendly septic system, filtered water, and a water softener for added convenience. Solar panels and battery backup will ensure you have power to stay comfortable and connected during your entire stay. The property is situated on a corner lot with direct private access to the beach.
